How much does it cost to join HomeSchool Affiliates as a Merchant?

Joining our program as a Merchant is Free!

We earn our keep based on performance just like affiliates who join your network. For each sale you make through a HomeSchool Affiliates  affiliate, we earn 5% commission on your sale. For example, if you offer your affiliates a 15% commission on every sale, your actual cost per sale will be 20% (15% to affiliates and 5% to  HomeSchool Affiliates).

How do my affiliates get paid?

Our service is powered by Post Affiliate Pro, the leading affiliate tracking software. Post Affiliate Pro uses combination of cookies and IP address to track referrals for best possible reliability. When the visitor follows your affiliate link to our site, our affiliate system registers this referral and places cookie on his or her computer. When the visitor pays for the product, our system checks for cookie (if not found, checks for IP address of referral) and credits your account with a commission.  Post Affiliate Pro is used by thousands of Internet merchants and affiliates world-wide.

This process is absolutely automatic. All your referrals will be properly tracked.

Will your service work with my check out system?

Yes! We support the most popular checkout and payment systems: OSCommerce, PayPal (including IPN), CRE Loaded, 2Checkout, StormPay, WorldPay, aPay, SecureNetShop (snsCart), ccBill, PSiGate, clickCartPro, H-Sphere, Mambo phpShop, ShopSite, Yahoo Stores, ZenCart, VirtueMart, Cart Manager, E-Commerce Templates, Mambo ChargePlus, SWREG, X-Cart, 1ShoppingCart, XtCommerce, WordPress E-Commerce Plugin and many others. 

Additionally, we provide a general method of integration that simply requires a landing page after the sale, so HomeSchool Affiliates can be used with virtually any online shopping method.

How do I integrate this with my online store?

With our general method, it is as easy as placing an invisible image in your after-the-sale landing page.  For integration with specific systems, we provide an easy to use integration wizard.  Plus, if you would like our help, we will assist you for a small fee.

How do I get web publishers to sign up as affiliates?

First, you will need to customize some elements of your HomeSchool Affiliates Merchant's Account.  This is all done through a secure Merchant Portal and will take you about 1 hour to completely customize.  You will also need to create a set of Text and Banner Links.  We can provide help with creating colorful banner links.

Second, you will need to place an "Affiliate Signup" link on your web site.  This is most often placed among the footers on a site unless you wish to be more "aggressive" in building your affiliate network.  This link should take your visitors to a page that describes your affiliate program (including commissions paid) and a link to our HomeSchool Affiliates affiliate signup page.  From that point on, we handle the registration of each affiliate for you.

Every Affiliate in your network who places links on their site to your products or services pages will help improve your site traffic and page rank.
