About HomeSchool Affiliates

     HomeSchoolAffiliates is a service of Appalachian Multimedia Corporation.  We specialize in education, training and child development software and services. We are a small, family owned and operated business.

     We homeschool our one child, a teenage boy, who helps with this site (as a homeschool apprenticeship) and is the founder and student editor of our local homeschool online newspaper.

     We started this service to help other family owned businesses (merchants) reach more potential customers and monetize their websites (affiliates / publishers). The idea is for family owned businesses and publishers - especially homeschool family owned businesses and publishers - to work together to increase search engine visibility and increase sales and commissions from their business(es) and web sites.

     We have been in business since 2002.
